The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, after seeing the branding work for the Charlottesville Design Week, approached if it has words about designing their program for the 2017 Virginia Festival of the Book. Originally, they recommended that we use the files from last year as a template, but small changes began to mount until we had completely redesigned the document—and the reviews couldn't have been better

The cover each year features a wildflower illustration (the year's logo) and some basic information.

We used Frutiger and Garamond throughout the program, with color throughout to identify photos.
